I’m 28 and live in Yorkshire, UK. I’ve always been a scribbler and after studying Performing Arts in college, I decided that writing was definitely my path. There is nothing quite like escaping into another world — and creating your own worlds is like having a limitless playground (I have something of a Peter Pan syndrome). Fiction is the door to endless possibilities, and words therefore, must be the key.
I dream a great deal and tend to save the good ones for expanding into story ideas. I think I watch too many films because my dreams come in technicolor, with an all star cast. Alas, as you probably know, dreams are evil. Mine tell me amazing, intricate tales, with really crap endings — and the best dream of my life, when scribbled down, is actually just a multitude of emotions stretched across something excruciatingly mundane.
I also have a Cavy (that’s a Guinea Pig) called Bruce, a cat called Ben, an unhealthy appetite for hot chocolate, and some very geekish tendencies.
